Welcome to the Department of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Detroit Medical Center.

Residency programs
Our residents gain unparalleled exposure by training at an urban level 1 trauma center with over 90,000 annual ED at one of the busiest pediatric hospitals in the nation- Children's Hospital of Michigan.
Our program trains emergency medicine physicians who render the finest patient care while contributing to the specialty of emergency medicine through leadership in both academic and community medicine.
