Chair's Letter

As it is certain that time is precious during this season,  I will be brief. 2019 has been a year of change, with a change in our MCES leadership with the election of Dr. Dan Taylor as President, and new leadership at the Detroit Medical Center, Audery Gregory, Ph.D, R.N., as President of the DMC and CEO of the Adult Central Campus.

I see significant opportunities within these changes. My belief is rooted in the fact that our department continues to excel in all of its core missions, to promote quality medical care through excellence in clinical services, education and research, to respect the dignity of all patients and to promote the health, interests and well-being of department members and the department as a whole.

2019 produced a parade of awards and a shower of accolades from all of our partners.

This happens soley due to your expertise, devotion and humanity.
